Terms and Conditions of sen-ryo Membership Program

sen-ryo is operated by Genki Sushi Hong Kong Limited, the franchisee of sen-ryo in Hong Kong and is owned and operated by Maxim’s Caterers Limited, trading as sen-ryo (“sen-ryo”). The sen-ryo Membership Program is operated by sen-ryo. sen-ryo Card is issued by sen-ryo. An applicant or a sen-ryo member (“member”) who participates in the sen-ryo Membership Program hereby confirms that he/she agreed to be bound by the terms and conditions set out herein below and as may be amended by sen-ryo from time to time.

sen-ryo Point Card:

  1. The applicant is required to download sen-ryo mobile app and register for a sen-ryo Point Card with email address at “Recruitment” section. Each valid email address account can be registered once only. sen-ryo Point Card with no spending records will be invalid after 180 days.
  2. The applicant must be aged 18 or over. Each person may apply for one sen-ryo Card only.
  3. To be eligible for membership application, the applicant is required to accumulate spending of HK$1,300 on one sen-ryo Point Card within the time limit of 62 days from the date of first recorded transaction.
  4. The said time limit of 62 days starts from the day immediately after the date of the first recorded transaction. For example, if the date of the first recorded transaction is Sep 1, 2021, the last day of the time limit will be Nov 2, 2021.
  5. Only spending at sen-ryo in Hong Kong will be counted towards the cumulative spending amount, spending on third-party takeaway platform will not be counted.
  6. The cumulative spending amount is calculated based on the original price with 10% service charge while all other promotional offers and discounts are excluded from the calculation.
  7. sen-ryo Point Card must be presented upon payment to record the transaction, and the entire transaction can be recorded on one sen-ryo Point Card only. No transaction will be recorded in any sen-ryo Point Card after payment under any circumstances.
  8. Spending recorded in different sen-ryo Point Cards cannot be combined.
  9. Record of cumulative spending in a sen-ryo Point Card will be updated within 24 hours after the transaction. The applicant can check his/her cumulative spending record via sen-ryo mobile app. sen-ryo’s record is final and conclusive.
  10. Any spending at sen-ryo before the applicant has become a member is not eligible for earning sen-ryo Point.
  11. After the applicant has accumulated spending of HK$1,300 on one sen-ryo Point Card within the 62-day period specified above, he/she is required to provide personal details and filling in an application form via sen-ryo mobile app within 180-day period to apply for sen-ryo membership. Any sen-ryo Point Card that fails to be registered within the 180-day period will be forfeited automatically and under no circumstances will sen-ryo allow or accept sen-ryo membership application using forfeited sen-ryo Point Card.
  12. If the application is successful, the applicant will receive a membership confirmation email and be given a sen-ryo Card number within 24 hours after application.
  13. In order to apply for sen-ryo membership, the applicant must complete all mandatory fields in the application form in full and provide true and accurate information. sen-ryo will not process any incomplete or inaccurate application; and reserves the right to decline any application for sen-ryo Card at its sole discretion and without giving any reason therefor.
  14. Any request to amend an applicant's personal information after submitting the application form can be made in writing to sen-ryo's Data Privacy Officer.
  15. sen-ryo mobile app, sen-ryo Point Card and virtual sen-ryo Card are only applicable to mobile devices using iOS 8.0 or above, or Android 4.4 or above.

sen-ryo Member:

  1. sen-ryo Membership is valid for one year only. Only virtual sen-ryo Card in mobile device will be issued.
  2. Member can login to Member’s Area via sen-ryo website or sen-ryo mobile app to check the expiry date of the sen-ryo Card. In order to safeguard the rights and privileges of member, sen-ryo will notify member of the membership expiry date before expiration of membership. Upon membership’s expiration, member must apply for renewal or apply for a new card in order to enjoy the rights and privileges of a member.
  3. Member is solely responsible for the safe keeping of his/her sen-ryo Card number and password and shall not disclose or divulge such information to any third party.
  4. sen-ryo is not liable for any loss or damages suffered by member arising from the loss, theft or use of his/her sen-ryo Card number or password.
  5. If there is any suspicious or irregular activity or transaction relating to member’s sen-ryo Card account, please immediately contact sen-ryo Customer Service Hotline at 2101 1789 (Monday to Sunday: 10am – 9pm).
  6. sen-ryo Card is not transferable or assignable and is for member’s personal use and benefit only. Verification of member's identity may be required.
  7. Except where otherwise provided, sen-ryo Card cannot be used in conjunction with other promotional offers, discounts and gift vouchers.
  8. Except where otherwise provided, member is entitled to earn sen-ryo Point upon purchasing regular-priced items at sen-ryo outlets in Hong Kong, sen-ryo Points are calculated based on the total net amount of the transaction. The amount of 10% service charge will not be counted in calculating sen-ryo Points earned for any transaction. Valid for dine-in, takeaway purchase and online takeaway ordering, except third-party takeaway platform. Where the transaction involves the use of any third-party offer, discount or cash coupon, no sen-ryo Points will be awarded for such entire transaction.
  9. To enjoy the privileges, member must present a valid sen-ryo Card at the time of payment. If sen-ryo Card cannot be presented at the time of payment, in no event will or can points be earned or used for that transaction.
  10. sen-ryo Points earned will be credited to the sen-ryo Card account within 5 business days after the transaction.
  11. sen-ryo Points used will be deducted from the sen-ryo Card account instantly. The expiry date of sen-ryo Point is the same as that of sen-ryo membership. All unused sen-ryo Points will be void upon expiration of sen-ryo membership.
  12. sen-ryo Points cannot be transferred, gifted away, assigned or otherwise to other individual or sen-ryo Card, and cannot be combined for use with sen-ryo Points in other member’s account.
  13. sen-ryo's record (including but not limited to the record of sen-ryo Points balance in each sen-ryo Card account) is conclusive and final and binding on member.
  14. Member has no right to participate in the constitution, operation or management of the sen-ryo Membership Program nor any right in or any claim to any assets of sen-ryo.
  15. Member is responsible for keeping sen-ryo updated on their correct mobile phone number and e-mail address. sen-ryo is not responsible for any loss or damages as a result of member’s failure to notify sen-ryo of any change of mobile phone number and e-mail address.
  16. Member may terminate his/her membership at any time by informing sen-ryo in writing. All unused sen-ryo Points will then be void and membership will be terminated.
  17. In the event of any breach of the terms and conditions of sen-ryo Membership Program, or the use of the sen-ryo Point Card or sen-ryo Card is unauthorized or arises from act of misconduct, fraudulent or otherwise unlawful, sen-ryo has the right to stop one’s participation in the sen-ryo Membership Program and/or immediately terminate one’s sen-ryo membership or his/her application with or without notice. sen-ryo will not be liable for any loss or damages resulting therefrom and has the right to take action for recovery of any loss suffered by sen-ryo as a result of the breach of the Terms and Conditions of sen-ryo Membership Program.
  18. sen-ryo reserves the right to terminate sen-ryo Membership Program and/or its operation at its sole discretion at any time with reasonable notice, where reasonably practicable, without giving any reason therefor. All rights and/or privileges of an applicant/member shall cease upon termination and sen-ryo will not be liable for any loss or damages resulting therefrom.
  19. Not every member will be eligible to participate in all promotions and sen-ryo may from time to time impose other limitations on member’s participation in any promotion. Member taking part in any promotion shall be deemed to have agreed to be bound by the applicable terms and conditions which may be imposed by sen-ryo in relation to such promotion.
  20. All personal information collected under the sen-ryo Membership Program shall be managed in accordance with the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance and the Privacy Policy Statement of sen-ryo.
  21. In the event of any dispute arising from sen-ryo Point Card, sen-ryo Card or sen-ryo Membership Program, sen-ryo shall be the sole and final arbiter of such dispute and its decision shall be final and binding on an applicant and/or member.
  22. An applicant’ s use of sen-ryo Point Card or member's use of sen-ryo Card is deemed to be an acceptance of the Terms and Conditions of sen-ryo Membership Program. For the Terms and Conditions of sen-ryo Membership Program, Privacy Policy Statement, and Terms of Use (Website and Application), please visit sen-ryo website members.sen-ryo.com.hk or sen-ryo mobile app.
  23. sen-ryo reserves the right to amend the Terms and Conditions of sen-ryo Membership Program or revoke any right and/ or privilege without prior notice. All changes or amendments are effective once announced on the sen-ryo website or sen-ryo mobile app. Applicant or member should regularly check whether Terms and Conditions of sen-ryo Membership Program has been modified or right and/or privilege has been revoked via sen-ryo website or sen-ryo Mobile APP, as an applicant’ s or member’s continued use of sen-ryo website or sen-ryo mobile app indicates the acceptance of any change to the Terms and Conditions of sen-ryo Membership Program and/or revocation of right and/or privilege. In case of any dispute, decision of sen-ryo shall be final.
  24. If there is any inconsistency or conflict between the English version and Chinese version of the Terms and Conditions, the English version shall prevail.

sen-ryo Member Privileges

During the validity period of the sen-ryo membership, members can enjoy the below privileges:

  1. Welcome Offer：

    2. New sen-ryo members will be entitled to a welcome offer of $100 e-coupon. E-coupon will be sent to the Coupon section of member's account via sen-ryo mobile app upon membership is effective. The e-coupon can be used upon dine-in or self-pick takeaway spending of $400 or above (based on the original value before 10% service charge for dine-in) and is valid for 60 days from the date of issuances

    3. sen-ryo members may enjoy a delightful meal with one-time 30% off upon dine-in at any sen-ryo outlets in Hong Kong during his/her birthday month. (e.g. If the member’s birthday is on 15 Oct, birthday month covers the period of 1-31 October.)

    Terms and Conditions:

    • Please present valid sen-ryo Card at the time of payment.
    • sen-ryo Points will not be awarded for the whole transaction while enjoying the offer.
    • Only applicable for dine-in, 10% service charge is incurred in dine-in consumption and based on the original value.
    • This offer is applicable to alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.
    • This offer is not applicable to lunch sets, Japan delivered completed farm hon maguro menu, Omakase menus, other charges (cake-cutting fee/corkage fee) and 10% service charge.
    • This offer cannot be used in conjunction with coupons, e-coupons, dining certificates, gift vouchers, promotional offers or discounts.

    From the next calendar month following the effective date of the sen-ryo Card, the member may enjoy the birthday offer during his/her birthday month. If the effective date of the sen-ryo Card falls in the member’s birthday month, the member may enjoy the birthday offer during his/her birthday month in the following year. For example, the member has registered as sen-ryo member in April which is also his/her birthday month, he/she may enjoy the birthday offer in April in the following year.

    4. sen-ryo members will earn 1 sen-ryo Point for every HK$20 spent at any sen-ryo outlets in Hong Kong. sen-ryo Point is calculated based on the total net amount of the transaction. The amount of 10% service charge will not be counted in calculating sen-ryo Points earned for any transaction. The spending in cents and transaction under HK$20 will not be counted. For example, if the total net amount of the transaction is HK$125.50, 6 sen-ryo Points will be earned; Every 20 sen-ryo Points can be used as HK$20 during subsequent purchases. sen-ryo Points can be used in 20-point units. Terms and Conditions of sen-ryo Card Membership Program

  1. sen-ryo card Members will earn 1 sen-ryo point for every HK$20 spent at any sen-ryo outlet in Hong Kong . Every 20 sen-ryo points may be used as HK$20 during subsequent purchases at any sen-ryo outlet in Hong Kong after 5 business days. sen-ryo points can be used in 20-point units, e.g., 20 points, 40 points, 60 points and so forth.
  2. The priority room booking service is only available at designated sen-ryo outlets in Hong Kong including Miramar Shopping Centre outlet, Kowloon Hotel outlet and Sun Arcade outlet in Tsim Sha Tsui; Grand Century Place outlet in Mongkok; Century Square outlet in Central and Hysan Place outlet in Causeway Bay. sen-ryo card Members must book one day in advance and be seated by 7pm. The reservation will only be held for 15 minutes.
  3. sen-ryo card Member may enjoy a one-time birthday offer with one or more guests at any sen-ryo outlet in Hong Kong during his/her birthday month by presenting his/her sen-ryo Card. The offer is as follows: two diners may enjoy a 50% discount; three diners may enjoy a 33% discount; four diners may enjoy a 25% discount; five diners may enjoy 20% discount; six diners may enjoy 17% discount; seven diners may enjoy 14% discount; eight diners may enjoy 13% discount; nine diners may enjoy 11% discount. For 10 or more diners , the discount is 10%. Terms and Conditions of sen-ryo Card:
  1. sen-ryo membership is valid from the effective date of the sen-ryo Card until the last day of the 13th month thereafter. For example, if the effective date of the sen-ryo Card is 13th June 2014, the membership will expire on 31st July 2015. Member privileges are applicable at sen-ryo outlets in Hong Kong only.
  2. sen-ryo Card member must be aged 18 or above.
  3. sen-ryo point is calculated based on the total net amount of the transaction. The amount of 10% service charge will not be counted in calculating sen-ryo Points earned for any transaction. No sen-ryo point will be earned for the whole transaction enjoying Hang Seng Bank enJoy Card offer.
  4. To earn or use sen-ryo point, a valid sen-ryo Card must be presented at the time of payment. Late records will not be accepted under any circumstances.
  5. 1 sen-ryo point will be credited for every HK$20 spent (based on the total net amount of the transaction). The spending in cents and transaction under HK$20 will not be counted in calculating sen-ryo point earned for any transaction. For example, if the total net amount of the transaction is HK$125.50, 6 sen-ryo points will be earned.
  6. sen-ryo points earned will be credited to the sen-ryo Card account within 5 business days after the transaction.
  7. sen-ryo points used will be deducted from the sen-ryo Card account instantly. The validity period of the sen-ryo point is the same as that of the sen-ryo membership. All unused sen-ryo points will be void upon expiry of the sen-ryo membership.
  8. Genki Sushi's record (including but not limited to the record of sen-ryo point balance in each sen-ryo Card account) is conclusive.
  9. sen-ryo points cannot be transferred as gift or otherwise to other individuals, and cannot be combined for use with sen-ryo points in other members' accounts.
  10. sen-ryo Card cannot be used in conjunction with other benefits, discount or coupons.
  11. In the event that sen-ryo Card is lost, stolen or damaged, cardholder shall immediately report such loss or damage to Genki Sushi. sen-ryo Card report lost hotline: 2101 1789, Press "3". (Monday to Sunday: 10am-9pm) For card replacement, an administration fee of HK$100 will be charged.
  12. sen-ryo Card member is responsible for the safekeeping of his/her sen-ryo Card. Genki Sushi is not responsible for any loss suffered by a sen-ryo Card member resulted from the lost or damage of a sen-ryo Card.
  13. sen-ryo Card member may terminate his/her membership at any time by informing Genki Sushi in writing and returning his/her sen-ryo Card. All unused sen-ryo points will then be void and membership terminated.
  14. Genki Sushi reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions without prior notice. In case of any disputes, the decision of Genki Sushi shall be final.
Other Terms and Conditions:
  1. In the event of any breach of the terms and conditions of the sen-ryo Card Membership Program, or the use of the sen-ryo Point Card or sen-ryo Card is unauthorized, fraudulent or otherwise unlawful, Genki Sushi has the right to stop one's participation in the sen-ryo Card Membership Program and/or terminate one's sen-ryo membership, and also to take action for recovery of any loss suffered by Genki Sushi as a result of the breach.
  2. Genki Sushi reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions or terminate the sen-ryo Card Membership Program without prior notice. All changes or amendments are effective once announce on the sen-ryo website: http://www.sen-ryo.com.hk. In case of any disputes, the decision of Genki Sushi shall be final.
General Terms:

i) Persons under the age of 18 shall not be entitled to apply for sen-ryo Card; ii) If there is any inconsistency or conflict between the English version and Chinese version of the Rules, the English version shall prevail; iii) In the event of any disputes arising from sen-ryo Card or the Rules, Genki Sushi shall be the sole and final arbiter of such disputes and its decision shall be absolute and binding on the Cardholder; iv) All personal information collected under the sen-ryo Card Programme shall be managed in accordance with the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance and the Privacy Policy Statement of Genki Sushi.

Data Privacy:

The applicant agrees that he/she has voluntarily provided all information to sen-ryo and agrees and understands that sen-ryo and its group companies can use such information for verification of identity, promotion, cross marketing and other relevant purposes. Cardholders will receive information from sen-ryo (or its group companies) about different products and services from time to time.   1. How can I download the sen-ryo mobile app?

    You can download the sen-ryo mobile app on Apple App Store or Google Play Store by searching "sen-ryo" on the mobile devices. sen-ryo mobile app and virtual sen-ryo Card are only applicable to mobile devices using iOS 8.0 or above, or Android 4.4 or above.


  2. How to activate the Virtual sen-ryo Card?

    Click on "Member's Area" on sen-ryo mobile app, and login with your sen-ryo Card number/registered email address and password.


  3. How can I get and redeem e-coupon on sen-ryo mobile app?

    Click on "Coupon" to retrieve e-coupon on sen-ryo mobile app. And show your e-coupon barcode to our staff when you settle the payment. sen-ryo members have to login to the Virtual sen-ryo Card in order to retrieve members' exclusive coupons (if applicable).


  4. Can I share my sen-ryo Card information to my friend?

    For your account's security, we do not recommend sharing your account details with others. System will only allow one account login per session.


  5. If we change another mobile phone, how can I transfer my sen-ryo Card information to the new mobile phone?

    You can simply download the sen-ryo mobile app to your new mobile phone, and start using your Virtual sen-ryo Card by logging into your sen-ryo Card account.


  6. How can I enjoy member privileges if I cannot login to the virtual sen-ryo Card?

    You may login to the Member's Area at sen-ryo website and present the barcode to cashier, you will then be able to earn and use sen-ryo Points for the transaction. However, you are still unable to use e-coupons.

  4. Why can't I receive any promotional news from sen-ryo?
    You will not receive our promotional news under following circumstances:
    • Opted out direct marketing communication when you first registered as sen-ryo member;
    • Opted out specific direct marketing communication channel at sen-ryo website or sen-ryo mobile app before;
    • Registered in the Office of the Communications Authority's “do-not-call registers” (https://www.dnc.gov.hk/public/dncquery).

About the sen-ryo Point scheme

  1. What is the sen-ryo Point scheme?
    For every HK$20 you spend at Hong Kong sen-ryo outlets with your valid sen-ryo Card, you will earn 1 sen-ryo Point. Accumulate 20 sen-ryo Points to use as HK$20 on your next visit. sen-ryo Point can be used in 20-point units. sen-ryo Point cannot be exchanged for cash, other products, offers or discounts, and any unused balance will be forfeited.

  2. How do I earn sen-ryo Point?
    sen-ryo members will earn 1 sen-ryo Point for every HK$20 spent at any sen-ryo outlets in Hong Kong. sen-ryo Point is calculated based on the total net amount of the transaction. The amount of 10% service charge will not be counted in calculating sen-ryo Points. The spending in cents and transaction under HK$20 will not be counted.

  3. How do I use my sen-ryo Point?
    sen-ryo Points can be used in20-point units, i.e. 20 points, 40 points and so forth. Members may use their sen-ryo Points at any sen-ryo outlets in Hong Kong, and must present a valid sen-ryo Card with sufficient sen-ryo Points at the time of payment.

  4. How do I check my sen-ryo Point balance?
    Members may check their sen-ryo Point balance via the following methods:
    1. The receipt for each transaction will clearly list your sen-ryo Point balance
    2. Login to the sen-ryo Member's Area of sen-ryo website or sen-ryo mobile app
    3. You may call the sen-ryo customer service hotline at 2101 1789 (Monday to Sunday: 10am-9pm)

  5. When will my sen-ryo Point balance be updated after each transaction?
    sen-ryo Point redeemed will be deducted from your point balance instantly, sen-ryo Point earned in each transaction will be credited to your account within 5 business days.

  6. Will I also earn sen-ryo Points when I use my points for payment?
    sen-ryo Point used for payment will not be awarded with points. sen-ryo Point is calculated based on the total net amount of the transaction. The amount of 10% service charge will not be counted for earning sen-ryo Point. For example, if the total amount before 10% service charge is HK$250 and 20 sen-ryo Points are used, the net amount eligible for earning sen-ryo Point is HK$230, thus, 11 sen-ryo Points will be earned for the transaction.

  7. Under what circumstances am I unable to earn sen-ryo Point?
    You cannot earn sen-ryo Point under the following circumstances:
    • If you are unable to complete payment during a transaction;
    • If you are unable to present a valid sen-ryo Card at the time of payment;
    • If you are restricted by the terms and conditions of specific promotional campaigns;
    • The 10% service charge, discounts offers, coupons, purchase or use of gift vouchers and sen-ryo Point used will not be awarded with sen-ryo Point.

  8. May I combine sen-ryo Point from two different accounts or transfer sen-ryo Point to another member?
    To protect the interests of sen-ryo members, members may not transfer sen-ryo Point to others and may not combine sen-ryo Point from different sen-ryo Cards.

  9. If I forget to present my sen-ryo Card at the time of payment, can I still earn sen-ryo Point?
    If you are unable to present a valid sen-ryo Card at the time of payment, sen-ryo Point will not be granted for the transaction and will not be credited at a later time.

  10. What is the validity period of my sen-ryo Point?
    The validity period of sen-ryo Point is the same as that of the associated sen-ryo Card. Unused sen-ryo Point will be voided when the sen-ryo Card expires.

  11. Can I earn or use sen-ryo Point at sen-ryo outlets outside of Hong Kong?
    The sen-ryo Point scheme is only applicable to Hong Kong sen-ryo Cards at Hong Kong sen-ryo outlets.

  2. How do I login to the Member's Area?
    To login to the Member's Area of sen-ryo website or sen-ryo mobile app, please enter your 8-digit membership number/registered email address and password.

  3. How do I change my password?
    You may change your password after logging into sen-ryo Member's Area at sen-ryo website or sen-ryo mobile app. Click “Change Password” and select a new password containing 8-12 letters and numbers.

  4. What do I do if I forget my password?
    • You can go to Member's Area of sen-ryo website or sen-ryo mobile app and click on “Forgot password”. Then enter your 8-digit sen-ryo Card number or registered email address. A password reset link will be sent to your registered email address shortly;
    • If your email address has been registered for more than one sen-ryo Card accounts, please enter your sen-ryo Card number to receive the password reset link;
    • If you did not provide an email address at the time of registration or if you have other question about member login, please call the sen-ryo customer service hotline at 2101 1789 (Monday to Sunday: 10am-9pm) or email to member@sen-ryo.com.hk, our customer service representative will contact you within 3-5 working days upon receiving your request.
